Palestine Investment Conference
Bethlehem
May 21-23, 2008
PIC-Palestine-2008: a milestone event serving as the introduction to investment
opportunities in Palestine for the Palestinian Diaspora, the Arab business community and other regional and international investors. The conference will serve as a platform to discuss investment opportunities, forge genuine partnerships between the Palestinian and the international business communities, and to showcase the ongoing efforts of the Palestinian public sector to foster an enabling environment for private sector growth development.
This conference was inspired by the international donor community’s December 2007
commitment to a comprehensive three-year development and rehabilitation plan for
Palestine. At this historic event, parties combined to pledge $7.7 billion toward the social and economic development of Palestine. Building upon this foundation, the Palestinian private and public sectors have joined together to showcase the diverse investment opportunities available to regional and international partners.
PIC-Palestine-2008 Vision:
To improve the economic and social living standards in Palestine through increased
