Also, today a bipartisan group of senators led by Senators Brownback, Lieberman and Salazar introduced the OPEN FUEL STANDARD ACT OF 2008 requiring that 50% of new cars sold in the US be flex fuel. A similar bill HR 6559 was introduced in the House by Reps. Engel, Kingston, Israel and Inglis.
I urge you to contact your representatives and ask them to become cosponsors of this important legislation.
