Swedish experts advise extreme caution in Asia: Monday’s funds news in Europe

Sweden
With thousand of pension savers emptying their private pension plans, insurance pension firm Söderberg & Partners has started giving advice on alternative plans to try and halt these outflows. According to the company, investors have welcomed the idea, E 24 reports.
Experts have advised investors to show extreme caution in Asian markets, especially in China, Affärsvärlden reports.
Switzerland
Bertrand Bricheux, head of business development at UBP Alternative Investments thinks that this year is complicated for everyone, including alternative managers, Le Temps reports. In July hedge funds have faced one of the worst months in their history, with a decline of 2.8 %. During 2008, the overall performance is – 3.8%, according to Hedge Fund Research.
