Pupils at a Derby school could be offered menus with halal as the only meat option on one day a week, a councillor has said.

Dale primary school is consulting with parents about whether they would want to see the traditional Muslim meat offered on school menus.

One option being considered is to have one day a week where the meat option is solely halal.
