Teachers in New Zealand “bored” with their jobs, moving to Dubai.
(Hopefully, these teachers will not have sex on the beach, get drunk in public, and will wear appropiate clothing while employed in Dubai. NZ teachers recruited to Middle East jobs
By JOHN HARTEVELT – The Press | Wednesday, 22 October 2008
A New Zealand company accused of enticing hundreds of Kiwi teachers and principals to the Middle East says its clients are bored with their jobs at home.
“We’re not sending people anywhere they’re choosing to go,” Multi Serve Education Trust chief executive John Langley said.

The practice had stepped up in the past four years since the company “struck up a deal with the state of Qatar”, the PPTA article said.
Langley objected to the “trafficking” claim and said 200 educators on its books would be working, mainly in Qatar and Abu Dhabi, by January.
“We have people in the middle of their career who, because of a lack of possible opportunities in New Zealand, want to take that up and get some excitement back in their lives,” he said.
