Not enough attention is paid to the fact that Iran is ruled by Shariah and, as a result, women’s rights there are dismal, human rights overall are medieval and religious minorities are persecuted. The persecution of religious minorities is a requirement of Shariah.
There can simply be no separation of the fact that Iran has been described as “dominating” the world of Shariah-Compliant Finance and, at the same time, routinely persecutes religious minorities under that same system of Shariah.
The whole purpose of Shariah Finance is to promote Shariah. It is simply a vehicle and helping the Islamic supremacists promote Shariah through “financial jihad” makes no sense.
