Cricket is one of the most popular sports in the UK and in many of the former commonwealth nations and other nations which were associated with Great Britain at some point in history.

One of these nations is Pakistan.

Now, members of a cricket organization are raising money for an Islamic charity to send aid into Swat valley, where the Taliban basically took over and ruled by shariah in an agreement with the government last year. Ever since the area has been racked by violence and the people there no doubt need relief.

But, as we have pointed out many times, all too often, money donated to Islamic charities ends up in the hands of Jihadist terrorist organizations.

In fact, this is exactly what happened in the wake of a 2005 earthquake in the same region. Money was raised in the UK for earthquake relief and sent to Pakistan via Islamic charities, and a major portion of that money went to the Jihadist terrorist organization which pulled off the Mumbai attacks…

We can only hope that this does not get repeated…
