Another Islamic “Humanitarian” Organization Added to UN Al Qaeda Sanctions List

Every once in a while, the UN gets something right. It’s usually very late, but sometimes they actually do something right.
Last September the US sanctioned theĀ Hilal Ahmar Society Indonesia as a wing of Al Qaeda. Now, seven months later, the UN has followed suit.
It’s standard practice for Jihadist organizations to have “humanitarian,” public works and charitable arms. They use these to win hearts and minds, provide cover for Jihadi operations and especially to raise and launder money…
