Back in 2016 SFW covered a couple of stories of World Vision, a Christian charity that became involved in raising money that went to Jihadist organizations:

Middle East Forum has done a terrific job of keeping up to date on that topic and they held a webinar recently that is well worth checking out. It seems that the Obama administration oversaw funding of World Vision by the US taxpayer.

Here is an excerpt and LINK:

In 2014, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), awarded $723,000 to the global evangelical charity World Vision to improve water, sanitation, hygiene and food security in Sudan’s Blue Nile region, $200,000 of which World Vision awarded to the Islamic Relief Agency (ISRA), a charity designated by the U.S. government as a terrorist supporting entity in 2004.
