McDonald’s ill-fated and expensive sojourn into the realm of Shariah-compliant food has finally come to an end–or so it would seem.
McDonald’s tried to accommodate halal food, got accused of breaking the rules, was sued and had to settle to the tune of $700,000–despite the fact that there was no clear victim in this case.
